    i don't see why what you said couldn't apply to a 4w5. also most of the 9w8's i've known have been pretty conflict-avoidant, and i wouldn't call any of them confrontational.

    they can be scrappy if they have a strong 8 wing (which, if you are a 9w8 you would have from growing up in Oakland )

    i've lived here like a year and a half lol, i'm from the east coast and the suburbs dude.

    strong 8 wing or not, they're still 9's. i dated a 9w8, he wanted no part in any argument or conflict at all. the 8 wing just gave him a bad temper and made him more solid and down to earth. not scrappy.

    After all the trials and tribulations, I'd say Elfboy is, at last, accurately typed as an ENFP. I'm 84% sure he's 7w8 sp/sx, since I don't know him IRL.
    Tentative typing: ISFJ 6w5 or 9w1 (Sp/S[?]).
