    Default Critter Sweaters

I have an old Siamese and a couple of short hair dogs that like to play in the snow. These are my children and I intend to get them sweaters and/or jackets for the winter, but I need some help. I know critters typically wiggle out of such nonsense, but I would like to find something to keep them warm. Do you have any suggestions?

I actually don't want this to be too degrading. This is what I have found so far.

This first one I might actually buy because it should stay dry in the snow and the dogs are big and fiesty.

These are possibilities for the cat perhaps?

Okay, so I don't have a ferret, but that is pretty awesome

It's a little amusing just how badly this thread has bombed. No one seems to care at all. Carry on.

How much degrading are you willing to put up with?

I guess as long as it keeps them warm and they seem willing to not wriggle out of it I'll take anything. It's not like I'm going to make them wear it in front of their friends or anything.

I didn't see this thread, sorry.

and I don't know never got my pets sweaters, of course where I had pets it never got cold enough to worry. So never really put much thought into it.

Well, the first one looks pretty cool. But if you aren't worried about their friends laughing at them, I would just for whatever would be the easiest to get on and off of them (because I would see that as a problem).

All I can think when I see dogs in outfits is "God dammit, poor things. They should be out sniffing down rabbits and humping things, not put on display as furry cute creatures." It was always funny when my grandma would dress their little pug up during the holidays though. My grandpa would just roll his eyes and be like "WTF..."

I've put a hooded sweat shirt on my dog before though... lolz

Are you sure these critters actually get too cold in the snow? Maybe you are rationalizing your need to dress up your pets in totally cute outfits.
