This game will take place in a Queendom known as Aureus. Aureus has been under attack by dragons. It is your duty to find out why they are attacking, even as you battle monsters and dragons as you cross the land. This is a quest where many of you may die, but know it is for the greater good of the Queendom.
Different swords do different damages (DMG). Everybody in the knight class starts play with a sword that deals 1d6 DMG. Knights can attack immediately and without restriction. Everybody in the Ranger Class gets a bow that deals 2d2 DMG. Rangers must attack from a distance and must use separate posts for aiming and shooting, each post at least 15 minutes apart (I will check post times.). Mages get a wand that deals 1d4 DMG, and has two spells: Candle and Burn. Candle makes the tip of the wand glow, and Burn adds 1 to your DMG for the next 15 minutes. In the future, you will gain weapons with better damage and more abilities like Shock, Fly, or Charm. Healers cannot fight and must be of the slug race.
There are 5 races in Aureus. Humans are Humans. Humans get +2 DMG to swords if they are knights, and get -2 DMG if they are mages or rangers. Elves are pointy-eared and taller humanoids who get +2 DMG when Rangers, and -2 DMG if they are mages or knights. Finally we have Wolfen, who are anthropomorphic Wolves who do well at casting. Wolfen use wands with a bonus of +2 DMG , and they get -2 DMG penalty using the other two weapons. Wolfen are a little more feral than the other two races, but are more in touch with magic energies. Their feralness makes them hard to fit in with the chivalry of Knights and the patience of rangers. Then, we have the Kitsune. Anthropomorphic foxes in their natural form, they can take on the physical characteristic of any type, however, their inner fox keeps them from attaining the full communion with nature the Wolfen possess, the natural talent of elves, or the dedication of humans. Kitsune gain no bonus or penalty and are good for those who might want to change class mid-game. Finally, we have the slugs. Slugs can only be the healer class and healers can only be slugs. Slugs, though possessing no arms or legs, can use their slime to resurect their allies, but the stress of combat impedes their ability to produce this slime. If you choose to be a slug, protect yourself at all costs until the fighting stops.
I will moderate rather than play this game. I will post as various monsters you must defeat and I will make rolls for you.
