Default Advice Thread (People helping people)

Hey guys! This site seems kinda dead and I've noticed people having troubles. We (me and hopefully others) care about you guys. State your problem and what you plan to do about it, or just vent. We are all here for you (I'm basically a counselor for my friends anyway... Apparently I give good advice, but I don't want to brag).

I shall be telling this with a sigh

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

There are 9 options on your poll, the 9th one being a "N/A" or "miscellaneous" options. That leaves 8 poll options.

8 outlooks on life to correlate with the 8 dominant cognitive functions.

I guess my most immediate concern is resolving my depression. I need to become motivated to live life again, to get out there and achieve. I have so little energy for anything at the moment. My melancholy is so exhausting, it is never far from the surface and has choked my ability to compose. I am depressed because I am tired, and I am tired because I am depressed...

All I have ever wanted to do is be a great composer, and that dream is slipping further and further away

You're not alone. I bet millions of people are struggling with the same issues as you. It will be okay. The best way to compose is only do it when you're ready. Do you play an instrument? Play that. Turn your sadness into creativity to make something great. That's what I do with poems. I write out my emotions, and I play guitar. Just FYI, the whole point of poetry and music is to show emotion. Use that to your advantage. I can tell that you have an immense talent. Don't let it go to waste-no matter how lazy you feel. I get like that too sometimes. We all do. Music changes humans in so many ways. It's amazing. And if you are struggling wih depression, find the root of the cause. Analyze yourself like you do to other people. That has helped me and many others. It will be okay. I'm here if you need anything.

Is that the most of your problems? Because if it is, I suggest you stop Marijuana and start your life... Unless it is perscribed, and for medical use ONLY.

    Should be pretty obvious.

What exactly are you having trouble with?

    What's a a worldview?

The closest to me is life is what it is. There is no reason behind it, it's simply an accident and a huge bit of chance that it came to be. As such, make the best of it. Or not. Its your life you can ultimately choose to do with it that you want. Of course, I am of the view that your life should minimized negative impact on others as much as possible.
