    Default Your typical hairdos

How do you usually wear your hair? Same thing every day? Favorite and least favorite hairstyles that you've rocked?

A general gist of my hair texture, and where I part my hair:

(my hair is less thick, but similarly curly -- curl type 3a, apparently)

Usually I wear it down and pin the front layers off to the side. Imagine the below pic with the above hair texture:

When I'm not having as good a hair day, I'll do a side ponytail:

    or a side braid:

or any number of other braided things:

I never wear my hair down, it's long and I'm not feminine enough to flick it coquettishly like most women. I like practicality but dislike bobs so I've learnt many different hair dos, I was even asked to do the bridesmaids hair for a wedding.

Usually? In a ponytail or bun or milkmaid braids.

    Favourite:

Easy, chic, out of my face and tasks.

I usually have bangs and either let it hang down in the back, or I ponytail just the back and let wisps hang down both sides of my face. On occasion I've pulled it back on the sides and clipped in the back and let the back hang.

I have long curly hair that I usually heat style. I've never understood but always admired how girls with my hair texture can wear it down and not have it bother them. I usually last about 5 minutes before wanting to rip it off.

I like this sort of thing. I feel like it works best for angular faces -- or at least defined jawlines. And I have neither, lol.

    I've done this, though:

It gets frustrating in the summertime. Any other time, it feels nice and soft against my face and neck.

Also it's useful when I drop something and my hair catches it for me

That hairdo is pretty (it'd be much nicer on curly hair I think). With milkmaids, it depends on how close the braids are to your face, the further away they are, the more forgiving it is to your face shape.

LOL, a few years ago, my sister threw a muffin at my head and it got stuck in there. You guys do make curly hair look awesome, though!

I change haircuts a lot, so it's largely dependent on that.

I had a pixie for a while so for about the past year and a half I haven't done much except for a little barrette or headband sometimes.

Right now I have bangs and a short ish bob, and I've been twisting the sides back and pinning them or clipping it half up sometimes.

Messy bun is probably what I've worn most. I like to French twist the front of my hair kinda like that from braid that Jennifer Aniston popularized a few years back, but like a small raised twist.

Low loose braids are pretty when my hairs long enough.

Finally, my ultimate bad/dirty hair day move is wrapping my whole head up in a scarf with the knot at the nape of my neck. Looks cool and is super low fuss.

Haha...sounds like you have hair like mine; has a mind of it's own, eh?
