we always have chinese on christmas... christmas eve is at my parents house and his family has christmas lunch at noon... by dinnertime we're starving and don't feel like cooking, so chinese it is!

on another note, I learned today exactly how messed up my brain has apparently been for 31 years... did you know that it's possible to actually pay attention to something for long enough to complete it? I didn't

Cookbooks is the second largest category of adult non-fiction. Not sure what the first is (probably biographies or self-help).
If bees did go extinct, we could always hire people to dress up as bees and pollinate flowers with tiny feather dusters. Sure it'd be more expensive, but there are also millions of idle teens.

Grumpy cat has her own brand of bottled coffee; I don't see the connection between cats and coffee but I suppose there doesn't need to be one.

Returning to the OT (well, at least ostensibly)...

today I learned how to create a Linux Boot Disk, and to use the Unetbootin to install Linux onto
a brand-spanking-new second drive on a PC, which is doomed to have Windows 7 on the first drive.

I'll have to make sure I don't wrench my shoulder from all this patting myself on the back.

I had to learn something today, right? Ummm... I learned that there have been enough Bigfoot sightings in Santa Cruz that there is Bigfoot Museum there.

I learned that a great way to find new music is to find all the artists that Led Zeppelin copied but never credited. They had good taste and bad manners.
