If the appearance in that video clip is anything to go on, ...she must have been quite the battle-axe.

Fixed it for you. But everyone already knew that; the only question is what important task you'll be working on when it *does*...

I was watching Diane Sawyer's 20/20 special on the 50th anniversary of The Sound of Music last night and learned that the Von Trapp family escaped the Nazis not by climbing a mountain but by walking 2 blocks to the train station. Also, Christopher Plummer is a classically trained pianist.
If bees did go extinct, we could always hire people to dress up as bees and pollinate flowers with tiny feather dusters. Sure it'd be more expensive, but there are also millions of idle teens.

That is actually a huge disappointment... That movie got good when it did a complete 180 from light and sunny to dark and tense. It was like what is going on?!

And now I suppose I learned that, as well as that life is one big LIE!!!

Oh, while Coca-Cola is banned in North Korea, The Sound of Music is not.

The PSA (prostate specific antigen) test for prostate cancer is bogus. PSA is not a cancer antigen at all; its levels rise and fall due to activities, like bike riding, that have nothing to do with cancer. Furthermore, a New England Journal of Medicine article compared survival rates between patients who had their prostates removed and those who didn't. Conclusion: no significant difference.

This year I need to put a maximum distribution into an I.R.A., donate to charity for 501(c)(3)s, not Anarchist hacker organizations, and start a 549 plan in my state of residence for my kids. My finances make me feel so very old and bougie.
