Old mid-england mining town with little prospects.
'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.

God forbid I would say Wiki is wrong. It is very hard to believe Timor is part of the Australian Continent as it is separated from Australia by the Timor Trench putting it forever on another Continent.

And Papua New Guinea may be technically part of the Austalasian Continent, but in common parlance Papua New Guinea is not considered part of the Australian Continent.

We consider ourselves lucky because we are one country on one Continent. If Australia had been settled by the Dutch, the English, the French, the Portugese, the Spanish, and the Germans, we would be one Continent with six countries.

    How lucky can you get?

Seems as though you are denying geology. It is indeed part of the Australian continental shelf. What did Papua New Guinea do to you guys to make you hate them so? Thank goodness common people aren't in charge of science!
Don't like my modera... Oh wait, wrong forum. Carry on.
