Default Women, What have you Done with all my Favorite T-Shirts?

Haha, so looking back at my dating/girlfriend history, I've noticed that 1 or 2 of my favorite T-Shirts seem to magically disappear towards the end of a relationship. Like the kind of shirts that are all older and soft and fit perfectly and are a part of my soul.

I asked a couple of galpals if this was a thing, and one said, "Oh fuck yeah."

So I ask again, can I have my T-Shirt back? If not, I hope it's happy.
I've had this ice cream bar, since I was a child!

    Each thought's completely warped
I'm like a walkin', talkin', ouija board.

They probably were turned into polishing rags.

I still have a t-shirt from my first love that I wear to bed every night. That thing is disgusting. It's torn up, ragged, holes everywhere, WAY too big on me, I'm embarrassed to even step out of my room with it on in front of family members sometimes. But I'll be damned if it isn't the most comfortable shirt ever still to wear to bed like 8 years later.

I kept a shirt from my best friend from back when we were considering/pretending to be an item, and it's also super comfy :3 I only refrain from wearing it because I fear it'll rip up too knowing me. I wear a jacket from him all the time still though.

There's something really comforting about clothing from people you were once close to.. it isn't like a "omg I miss them soooo much" thing.. but you know, for the good times and little memories that can never be repeated again, that article of clothing can grow with you and be a piece of the past reminding you of where you came from and how you once were when you're out trying to change all the things around you. I kind of like remembering I was once a pretty lazy, introverted person that was highly amused by chat room roleplaying games and effortlessly floated through life. I like remembering that I was aiming for being a doctor once, and got a wake up call in a strange foreign land that I was making excuses for my lack of traveling instead of just fucking doing it, and I raced a Ugandan across a busy street at night in exchange for cell phone minutes because I lacked cash on me and I promised him I'd bring him sugar cane the next day if he gave me minutes and I beat him in a race... because my minutes ran out and I needed to hit up an ATM and Gods forbid I don't get to text and call my bestie for an evening.

It isn't like I think of that stuff every time I put it all on. But clothing you wear speaks about you, and I in particular like my clothing to have a story. I don't want just 'random shirt I thought was funny 23.' I prefer, 'Oh, I went skydiving in Arizona, and I got this shirt as compensation for not shitting my pants.'

    prplchknz: i don't like it

Mens clothes are so much more comfortable.

Taking a concept to it's logical end is rarely logical or relevant to the subject at hand.

I don't steal men's t-shirts... they don't have a flattering fit (I tend to chase large men and I have enough dresses already)

    I've only stolen knives

    It's true.

I don't have any commandeered t-shirts besides those belonging to my current boyfriend, but I have pilfered a good 10 pairs of my brother's athletic socks. They're just so much better made.
