I've got this thing where I finish almost every movie I start. Partially because if I'm watching it's with somebody else who actually wants to see it, or because I picked it myself. And also I am fascinated by bad things, even truly bad things, not just so bad they're good things.

this movie is awful. I've seen it twice with two different people who loved it. Difficult to sit through. I basically just mocked it (mostly) in my head the whole time.

Um......Sharknado to be honest. Everyone I know tells me it's amazingly funny but I felt like my IQ dropped about fifty points after the first two minutes. All it was, was a guy and two extremely tan, think attractive girls with huge boobs trying to pull a fat man out of a sunken school bus to save him from the sharks.

And The Last Song. Yuck. I was at a party and a few other people and I would just sneak each other annoyed glances and laugh at the exceptionally dumb parts. I guess some people like it, just not my kind of movie.

All of this, although I may tune out a film I'm bored with and find a distraction while it runs in the background. I have two categories of favorite movies because it wouldn't make sense to combine them: favorite quality movies and favorite broken ones. I have those two categories for other art forms, too. Works high on the broken list often have a crazy in-production story that led to their failure, perhaps more interesting than how the work itself turned out. That looks different from failure out of banal incompetence or laziness.

Agree. Yet the French original version in 1998 Le Dîner de Cons was, on the contrary, awesome.
