Operation Desert Storm in '91, then the Soviet Union ending in December
North Hollywood shootout
Oklahoma City bombing
Bill Clinton's Somalia intervention
A bunch of other military interventions
Bill Clinton's sex life
The mega mergers that left us with 5 really big American class I railroads (well, 4 big ones + Kansas City Southern)
Governor Pete Wilson
See. So much more exciting unfortunate.
I will add NZ did get involved with peacekeeping in Bosnia and East Timor. We don't start the wars - we usually just mop up afterwards. And now that I think of it we did have the Aramoana Massacre. How could I forget that? And David Bane!
The only ones on your list that I don't recall are Governor Pete Wilson and whatever happened with Newt Gingrich. Scandals, I assume? Also what about the World Trade Centre bombing and Waco? You forgot them.

I've dreamt in my life dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas;
they've gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the colour of my mind.

Yeah, what you're all saying I knew deep down. I just personally want to hit the annoying blind followers of my generation with a shovel sometimes, because I might be a TAD bit over dramatic. To the person who said still giving a negative fuck is a fuck, damn I do give a negative fuck. I just don't want to be eluded into a trend of "nostalgic self expression" but in reality just be a slave to buying merchandise for major cooperation's pay checks, while they dictate whats in and whats out, while kids continue to think they're the ones starting trends.
The 90's were awesome, but I don't think you all understand...I love a lot of bands from the 90's but when you go to parties and they're playing Hanson...at 90's themed party with TLC and the spicegirls...You too would cringe at the horrible music selection they picked out of all of the 90's I mean C'MON.

You mean you follow American railroading?
Pete Wilson wasn't particularly flashy or exciting, it's just that he was the last good governor California had.
In the 1994 midterm elections Republicans made huge gains in the House of Representatives and Gingrich became Speaker. He was a pretty effective leader. He also had a huge mouth and a huge ego (he still does actually).
Also what about the World Trade Centre bombing and Waco? You forgot them.
Yeah, those too.
