Default Ramen Noodles: yea or nay?

In the spirit of MBTIc threads, I present the age-old Ramen Noodle debate.

They're extremely cheap, but taste mostly like salt. Semi-seasoned salt. And every time I eat them, I get ill.

So, are you pro or con the Ramen Noodle?

    I... suppose. Yeah!

I like them well enough. I pour off the broth and mix vegetables in sometimes but they still make me a bit queasy.

In all seriousness, I used to make Ramen noodle pancakes. I'd discard the seasoning packet and combine the cooked noodles with other ingredients including fresh ginger and fry them til crispy. I'd serve with a ginger-soy dipping sauce.

I really wish I could remember the recipe. They were actually excellent.

    I... suppose. Yeah!

I enjoy them from time to time, especially when we are extremely broke and can't afford much more. They are quite excellent if you drain all the water out and then use the seasoning and maybe add a bit of extra sharp cheddar cheese shredded.

I also sometimes add some mixed vegetables.
They used to make this tomato kind, that i thought was pretty damned good, i wish they still made that one. I really like the hot and spicy chicken flavor.

    NOTE: i'll eat anything.

I love them, but this may be due to the fact that I am Asian.

I find them tolerable/good enough. However, since I just learned that making your own pasta is an incredibly fast and cheap process, I may never bother doing that whole living on Raman noodles thing.

I think it is too easy to fuck up pasta, granted, I am culinarily retarded.

Not especially. 1 egg, some flour, some water, roll it a bunch of times until it's thin enough (unless you have a rolling machine), cut it up, boil it (or freeze it), and you're done.

    You're kidding, right?

That's like way too complicated and energy-intensive.
