They are loaded with sodium and trans fat, but I can't resist them. They are a guilty pleasure.

the fact that I'm convinced that they'd survive a nuclear attack intact, along with the twinkies, cockroaches and televangilists makes me avoid them at all costs.

Ate them once, was hung over at the time and they didn't sit well... haven't eaten them since since I can barely stand to smell them.

Ramen Noodles are good when you're hungry and lazy.
    This thread is lame.
But I expect no less from MBTIc.

Eh. The only reason I like packaged fried ramen is for the high-glutamate-content flavor packet. There's nothing else in my diet that can stimulate that much UMAMI. Yum! Otherwise they're really bad for you, unless you're an otaku.

Oh, and ramen noodles can change color while you eat.

As long as I don't have to eat them all the time they are good. I really like salt, though.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Regular dried noodles are hideously bad for you.. .they have been deep fried in palm oil to dry them. Anyone looked at the fat content? The trick is to look around for the low fat ones... there are a few. They are much better.

Taste tip : get a regular chicken noodle version, use a little less water and stir in some smokey dried chilli flakes or similar, and some sweet chilli sauce. Yumm!
