I sometimes have to remember what year it is so that I can remember how old I am.

Yeah. It still kind of feels like I should be 42 instead of almost 44. I have to think for a second before I'm sure.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

haha, yeah I've asked people how old they were cuz I knew how many years apart we were and the fact that their birthday was right around mine and I could add and subtract to figure out my age. It's like a fucking math equation sometimes
