    Default small discoveries

so we have "What I like" "What I hate" "What I'm listening to" "What I'm reading" "What I'm watching" threads so I thought maybe we could have one of these type. Which I swear we have one somewhere but I can't find it.

Random discoveries about life and the world around you that gives you some sort of pleasure

wearing only one sock then a pair of shoes feels strange. one foot feels dry like cotton the other feels like a reacently mopped kitchen or bathroom floor.
    In no likes experiment.

    that is all

i dunno what else to say so

And I've just made a small discovery. You will never guess.

I've just seen a movie called, "Married Life", and I discovered what holiday houses are for. You know, you have your own house in the city and a holiday house in the country.

But I could never understand what a holiday house was for. I mean it is empty most of the time - open to thieves and the weather. No, it is much easier if you want to go for a holiday, to book a house for just that period - it is cheaper, easier and safer - unless.

Unless you want it for another purpose. And the movie, "Married Life", taught me what holiday homes are for.

They are for dalliance - extra-marital dalliance.

My God, now it all makes sense.

It's actually a well done movie. The characters are good, the plot is interesting and the production values are great.

But essentially the movie is a melodrama. And the acting is in the style of a mid-day serial. But well done.

But I enjoyed it. But as I walked home, past the Russian Embassy, I realised what holiday homes are for.

Twice I have been taken to holiday homes by married women and I was amazed by the whole thing. I couldn't understand what all the sneaking around was for.

    How completely naive I am.

    I'll go netflix it.
there's two one hasn't been released in the US (sept 2 is the date it's released) and the other is a spanish film, but it's listed as a comedy so I'm guessing the first one is the one you've seen.

Yes, it an American film, in fact a very American film. But I am surprised it hasn't been released in the US as movies are usually released there and here at the same time.

Perhaps you mean it hasn't been released on netflix. That makes sense.

Well we are sixteen hours ahead of you here. But perhaps more important is that we are two seasons ahead of you - so while you are in summer, we are two seasons ahead in winter.

This maybe why we get the movies before you.

    Makes sense, don' it?
