It is genuinely interesting to me though because I have not gotten that feedback before and I wonder what pattern is causing you to think that.

This is the second nugget of feedback I have gotten concerning smell. I feel like perhaps I should go shower.

! When I look closely, I see that it is a teensy bit of a different color. That is amusing!

It seems Skylights you like attention, even if it is negative.

Attention is very important as small babies will die without attention even if they are fed and kept warm.

But the reality now is we live in the Attention Economy where we compete for attention. And of course our role models are celebrities, those who garner the most attention.

And we pay attention to our celebrities and not enough attention to one another. In fact we compete with one another for attention.

So in our Attention Economy attention is a scarce commodity and yet we are foolish enough to give our attention away for free.

We are seduced into giving our attention away for free to quite false images of celebrities.

In other words, we can't tell the difference between imagination and reality. And we see this clearly with mbti.

So Skylights, I think your chances of finding reciprocal attention here are nil.

In all fairness, it’s not like I was all “Now return nohari me! DO IT!” If a person doesn’t make clear that they really want noharis, I can understand not making it a priority. They’re hard to do! I did yours during a stint in which I forced myself to do them because I wanted the feedback myself. [But I wasn’t very pushy in requesting people do it, and it would be unreasonable to expect people to *just know* that I really wanted feedback.]

It skewed the data so badly that all I could see to do was toss it, even though I regret having discarded genuine feedback like yours. Baby with the bathwater maybe, but I wanted a fresh start.
    That's understandable.

Well, in two years of having it up- I only got three. It was nothing surprising- and the stuff said that I hadn’t said myself, as soon as I saw it I was all, “yeah, okay, totally.” I guess it helped get rid of any paranoia that there might be something about me I was blind to- though more would have helped. Again- I also know it’s hard to do, so I could understand. I know of one in particular (I did for someone else) that in retrospect was slightly projection on my part. And that’s embarrassing, and probably ultimately unavoidable in the business of negative feedback giving- thus being one of the deterrents of doing them.

I'll get back to doing your new one sometime when I'm feeling more awake.

Since we're sharing and all...damn, haven't seen this thing in years. I'm surprised it still exists

Man...I dunno if I should perhaps make an updated version instead

I think noharis/joharis are convenient because they keep all the feedback in one place for handy comparison- but still, 55 adjectives can only do so much. I do wish these pages had an option to add at least one adjective. Even just one customized adjective would be surprisingly helpful.

Hehe very clever indeed. With that I decided to do your Johari, forgetting I had already done it. Oops!

I did pick "clever" for you both times though.

EDIT: thanks for the early morning Easter egg hunt!
