    you're gonna be juuuust fine. the real world is way less cruel about looks than high school. it's terrible what people that age do to each other. it's a famous problem. a LOT those "hotties" you go to school with now will fade quickly at the hand of their egos and reckless decision making based on the fact that they believe themselves to be beautiful and infallible. or they will get a lot of dates but never find someone who really cares for and respects them for who they are because they're just a pretty face. they're the ones with the problem. not you. just remember, post-high school is waaaay longer than high school.

    for now, just work on your personality and your brains. your interests and developing who you are as a person. that's real beauty and what is going to help you love yourself and make others love you.
    I don't see college kids being that much better than high school kids are.

    they are. it's a way bigger pool and the popularity competition is kinda dispersed.

    just don't join a sorority or something. take classes in things you're interested in and get involved with things you like.

    then prepare for the inevitable mindmeld with people who share your interests and may or may not have had a rough go in high school as well.
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    People just do their own thing in college. It's not an "everybody knows everybody" thing like it is in high school

    Look at the world around you for once. I look at my campus and all I see is chubby, bowlegged, oily, acne-ridden, average, sweatpants-wearing 2s-6s with satisfying social lives and huge grins on their faces. People in highschool considered me 'cute' (I fell off somewhat) and bombarded me with awkward, meaningless compliments that never amounted to anything, and absolutely noone could give less of a shit about me beyond that. Attractive people are a dime-a-dozen, and alot of them are awkward, forgettable, mincing bores. Noone's gonna give you special attention for that alone unless you're a reincarnation of Zeus' left nut.

    I agree. OP got some pretty decent answers to her subject question already. This thread is only making it worse.

    Really? I do look around me and it's rare I see a 2/10 (i think im the only one in the entire school.
    There really is no reason to smile if you're a LEGIT 2.
    They may be a dime a dozen but being a 1-2/10 leads you to a life of misery.
