Brilliant. So, you're going to go around asking people this question for another 10 months? Or, are you settled now and don't need to talk about this anymore?

Do you understand that it's your thoughts that make you believe this? If not, TRUST ME that this is most likely the case. If you work on your thoughts, your whole life has the potential to change for the better. What fears do you hold under the surface of this ugly persona ... that if you truly owned how attractive you are that you would have to actually live up to? There'd be no more excuses, no hiding from those thoughts anymore. Let's look under the mask you're holding up to your life ... what are you afraid of, really?

    *sigh*
What you ACTUALLY look like is irrelevant. You know that, right?

I have read though a plethora of your posts everywhere, that's why I think you at least meet the diagnostic criteria for BDD. What else is behind that mask is a matter of discovery. Find a cognitive behavioural therapist. I'm 95% sure what city you live in and I'll even send you links if you like. All you need to do is ask.

Think of it this way: dozens if not hundreds of people online are trying to help you. None of them support your perspective unlesss you talk to someone else about it. Please listen to the advice to seek therapy! Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has nothing to do with being crazy ... it's about having balanced thinking. It's all about seeing clear. You are young and have so much potential ahead of you. Don't settle for less.

Look not everyone is going to be super model pretty. Who cares. It's not something one should obsess about. Also almost everyone looks better between 20-30 then they do at 17.

Those actors playing teenagers in TV shows are usually mid twenties. That's why they look so put together. Not to mention the make up people, stylists and lighting people.

So ill tell you what I believe. I believe it doesn't matter what you look like. You need to get to a healthy place with it.

I'm done now because as much as I want to help you. It's obvious that it doesn't matter what I say.

The pity party is now closing. If this is how you act IRL then I can see why people call you ugly because they are referring to your attitude.

Boo-hoo you don't have any friends to text, Boo-hoo you don't have social skills because 94% of your peers think you are ugly. Boo-fucking-hoo.

Either get mental help or go troll another forum for your 15 minutes of internet fame and attention because this is ridiculous at this point.

    You should google Jocelyn Wildenstein.
There's also lessons to be learned from Michael Jackson.

And many others who came before you, thinking that external surgery would heal internal wounds.

    Or....here:

I think you are really seeking attention, and positive validation, with this thread. I don't think your original question, of asking whether you should get surgery, will be swayed either way with what we say unless it matches what you want to hear. But, in the meantime, you have 22 pages of people interacting with you - with the comfort of a computer screen between you and us.

    I hope it helped.
