Default Do you get bored with eating?

Like I mean really? I do. I love cooking it, it's just when i start eating i eat like a quarter of it and i'm bored, not full, bored and I can't be bothered to eat anymore, so I give the rest away. I can't be the only person that does this.

I like the idea of eating, but i don't like the actually process of doing so, it's weird
    In no likes experiment.

    that is all

i dunno what else to say so

For the most part eating is a mean to an end for me. I eat so that I don't become malnourished and die. It's not something I enjoy in and of itself.

I'm actually the same. I love cooking elaborate meals but I never want to eat them. It just isn't fun. I always have to be doing something else when I'm eating (watching TV, reading, etc.).
I really like cats and food.

Yeah. I get really bored that i can't not eat once and store the food like a camel and not have to cook etc for days. I also get bored that the day is 24 hours, it always goes away really fast and you always have to do the same things (ie you wake up, you have breakfast / take a shower, clean your teeth, etc). I think god really fucked up in that. i would have made the day 30 hours long at least and i'd definitely cut on the forced repetition of stupid everyday things.

also, @prplchknz, i read somewhere that its all downhill after the first bite. i mean, the best taste is the first taste.

I get bored with eating certain things, but no, I don't get bored of eating.

I'm the opposite. I hate cooking, but love a yummy dinner. Cooking just seems like a hassle, so I find the easiest way to make the yummiest foods. My best memories are going to special little cafes and restaurants, getting a yummy dinner, and leaving clean up to them.

I get bored with eating certain things, but no, I don't get bored of eating. I enjoy the taste of many foods, and I really love trying new foods. Good, well-presented food can be one of the best forms of art, something that appeals to just about every single sense. Basically, I'm the opposite of @93JC on this.

I don't get bored of actually eating, but I get bored of figuring out what I'm going to eat 3 times a day. It just gets tedious.
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

I can only eat so much of one thing at a sitting or over a period of time. I also hate that I have to eat because I'm hungry and can't ignore it anymore and there are things I'd rather be doing.

I don't like to cook. It seems like way too much work for the end product, especially when you have to dirty a bunch of pans and dishes to make the recipe.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

    Agree with all of this.

I never get bored eating my favorite foods though.
