I don't really care for the front end, but otherwise it's nice enough I guess. Kind of anonymous looking.

Nah, American muscle all the way, like Vin Diesel drives, or maybe tuned Asian imports, like Paul Walker drives, but Euro cars are simply too douchey.

It wouldn't matter. I don't think I could shake the awareness of what things cost, even if I had tons of money, and I'd still have my current discomfort with conspicuous consumption (trips don't sit in the driveway/garage). Cars just aren't important to me. And if I were going to buy a snazzy car it wouldn't be a Ferrari.

I sort of replaced "Ferrari" with "Whatever my dream car is" in my head and still came up with a resounding No. Sorry Ferrari! You're a trip to Antarctica and a hundred snowboards!

Very nice! How do you like it? That car is the first Volvo in the history of Volvo's to ever catch my eye ...

I want to know what the definition of "afford" is. Is it that I have that much money in the bank, that I can get a loan for that much money, that I'm suddenly gifted that much money, that I literally have more money than I could ever spend, what?

My answer would be no in most of those scenarios but perhaps yes in the last one, because why not. But I don't drive now, and there are about a million things that would be more worthwhile to spend the money on (including the option of saving it).

edit: actually I changed my mind. I would probably buy some kind of high-quality car, but not one specifically for going crazy fast, because that's not really my thing, and I don't care that much about cars anyway. I don't know enough about cars to know what kind of car I would want for a really high-quality vehicle to just drive around comfortably in, but I'm guessing it's not a ferrari.

Falcarius is one of those hippie vegetarian tricycle riding people dinosaurs, so he does not believe in buying any car unless he really has to do so. He does not even have a driving licence, but he knows how to drive random things for constructing nature parks such as dumper trucks, two-wheel tractors, and excavators.
