    Heart worked wonders for me.

Hopefully she'll led her sage to you.

If I may paraphrase a little, your avatar means to me "there's always time for the danse macabre"

The Danse Macabre was the original purpose for my avatar selection; the unifying premise of death – as an abstract ideal – is a harmonious thought.

Death simply has a bad rep.

Your avatar is one of my favorites of the whole board. I also like Noel's very much. (If it is the one I remember).

What I like so much about yours is that trickster element I see in death (the dark energy that makes room for renewal). He is also a friendly trickster.

I find it interesting that you interpreted the smiley face to mean friendliness. I see it as a mask.

I said he seems to be a trickster, but he is a friendly trickster! We fear death and change needlessly.

Changes, yes, death no. Fear of death is healthy, for most people. Not excessive fear, but fear nonetheless.

    Agreed.

I would absolutely love Night's avatar if there wasn't that aesthetically grotesque, stereotypical yellow smiley face adhered to Death's face.

The smiley face, in effect, portrays Death as being perverted and menacing.

The mask and robe are seamless in their concealment.

Death is a subjective flower; life can be far more painful.
