Yes, that's essentially where I live.

And yes, as I said, the hotels in my area generally cost that much.

Step 1. Round off your current rent to the nearest $50 whole number, then add 10% because filthy people are staying in your place.
    Step 2. Divide by 30

    Country:
    Area:
    Cost per night:

    For me:
    USA
    Texas
    $34 a night .. I have the rating of a Super 8.
    Country: USA
Area: 90210- Beverly Hills/West Hollywood, (it's sorta on the borders of both ) CA (in a few days!)
$ Per Night: $44.00 (if we're talking theoretical full rent price of studio/1 bedroom hybridthing, it's $1200.00 a month) - or $22.00 (if you just use my 'half' of the rent, which is 'prepaid' for awhile now from old favors long past, so I should really say $0, but I'm just giving the actual figures for the actual building's rental cost. Water's free, & I'm pretty sure gas is included, as well, but I'll have to doublecheck)

(the zipcode's misleading, the place isn't fancy, it's all old and shit, no a/c. But I love it)

*edit* I bet I fucked up the math. I don't care.

There are cheaper motels and hotels on Ocean Blvd, some around 100 bucks, and if you have a 1500 dollar apartment on Ocean blvd, I'm not sure why you're complaining.

Also, I just reported this for flaming.

I don't live on Ocean Blvd, nor did I ever complain.

But an island beautiful enough that I have a picture of the city skyline in the evening as my desktop background.

As for me, USA, NC, 30.

I'm glad you like it , yes, it's actually not so bad living here and it's clean, developed and has a lot of fancy skyscrapers...though I sometimes yearn for a wide open space and natural landscape with no other human for miles so that I can run around and be FREE!

Ah, yes... I yearn for the opposite sometimes... trade with me! You can drive out to the countryside and enjoy the heat and dust and bugs and cow smells and I can miss the feeling of the grass under my feet and we will both be cured
