My own subjective opinion of [being fashionable] is how lame and homoerotic it is. I'll see someone dressed up with some cheesy stylish hair cut with a flashy sparkly watch made out of diamonds or something and I can't help to think how much a jackass they look. Anyone else other than [my gang] feel this way?
If this post were cleansed of the semblance of typological half-relevance, it would appear to its readers as it is: infinitely trivial.
Fashion has to do with emotional expression, you can definitely express your Fe in your fashion style. People who wear brighter colors and have strange looking hair want to showcase themselves and make themselves heard. I usually think of people like David Bowie. James bond wears classy low key clothing, he's trying to do the opposite and make himself blend in with the crowd and not make himself be noticed.
The funny thing is, if you were to go to a business party only consiting of suit-wearing penguins all looking the same, you'll find more mental illnesses than on a party of metro- or homosexual people living their sexuality outwardly. At least with the latter ones you'll always be prepared beforehand on what to expect.
"How dreadful!" cried Lord Henry. "I can stand brute force, but brute reason is quite unbearable. There is something unfair about its use. It is hitting below the intellect." ~ Oscar Wilde - The picture of Dorian Gray

Not sure If I agree with that one.....but yeah suit wearing penguins kinda look like jackasses to me too. However sometimes you just need to wear a suit you can't really buck your way out of it.
