I really love Islands which is basically a really good burger place that has a surfer theme and serves beer. Super awesome. It is just a west coast thing, but if you ever get the chance I highly recommend it.

They'll also substitute a veggie pattie for free for the not meat inclined.

Another favorite is Kabuki (also west coast only apparently). It is a Japanese restaurant that I really enjoy. I recommend the beef teriyaki with some sake.

For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

The Capital Grille. The lobster macaroni is bliss. And it fights off evil at the same time.
