We could all pitch in to buy him some SPF 9000...

Yes and then he should invite 400 of his closest friends from MBTIc over for a week long barbecue. I think that sounds about right.

    FC, are you taking notes?

I think I recall hearing something about this... It's a hard call - HI is freakishly-expensive, so he'd probably live in a complete hovel, and a lot of it isn't as pleasant as the beaches. Then again, where I live is freakishly-expensive.

Oso: I was there for 9 days, and I'd say it's one of the garden spots of flyover country (particularly the portion north of and outside of the twin cities, though the cities were not bad). The only other large redeeming part I've seen is the contiguous region that includes western WY, western MT, and northern ID (and a little chunk south of western WY that extends into UT, but it's so different from the rest of UT that it should be part of WY).

NPG: Where I live is even sunnier, yet it appears pale people can survive here provided they avoid the sun when possible. Many of us end up with this blotchy overlapping cancer patina from years of excessive sun exposure, though.

Disclaimer: The above is my opinion and mine alone, it does not mean I cannot change my mind, nor does it guarantee that my comments are related to any deep-seated convictions. Take everything I say with a whole snowplow worth of salt and call me in the morning, if you can.
