Heh. When I saw the thread title on the main page, it was cut off and indicated by ellipsis. So it appeard that the thread title was "This place is better than..."

So, I'm thinking, you know, the sky's the limit! This place is better than:

    - a colonoscopy
    - a fresh plate of chicken Kiev
    - a warm beer
    - a new set of snow tires

So take your pick. What other things is this site better than?

To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

I'm not sure I agree that this place is better than a fresh plate of chicken Kiev.

I don't really mind the community, or the web design, etc., but I don't like how much traffic is here. Whenever I go to check out threads, everything is seemingly 4 pages in or so, and that peeves me as I don't like to join in within one more than maybe 2 pages in; I like to have a comprehensive overview of what direction the thread has taken so I can provide less arbitrary conjecture, and more things constructive to the discussion. Is anyone else like this while I'm mentioning this?
