You took the words out of my mouth.

    INTJ - Ni>Te>Fi>Se>Ne>Ti>Fe>Si

ISFJ - Si>Fe>Ti>Ne>Se>Fi>Te>Ni (8 functions are opposite) - Answer YES. Absolutely.

ESFP - Se>Fi>Te>Ni>Si>Fe>Ti>Ne (First 4 functions are opposite) - Answer NO. Never ever was.

There is another interesting tidbit that I will share. Note that INTJs and ENFPs are supposed to be attracted to each other - an ideal match if you will. However, I'm an Enneagram 6 which is not especially common for INTJs. 6s tend to to be attracted to Enneagram 9s and 2s. There is a statistical correlation. I thought ENFPs were a bit "flighty" - not "secure" or "stable" enough. A lot of ISFJs are Enneagram 9s and 2s. Not many ENFPs are 9s or 2s. I ended up with an ISFJ Enneagram 9.

    ESTJ?

Fun when kept at a distance (ie using my transcendent function).

    ENFJ?

My answer may as well be transcendent function.

    I hate/dislike them!

    Why?

Because they always reign their superior position in the political heirarchy over me when I end up violating their sacred and valued social principles.

So, if one of my opposites is ESTP [I already posted about a page back], the other is ISTJ?

    ISTJ - Si>Te>Fi>Ne>Se>Ti>Fe>Ni (8 functions are opposite)

ESTP - Se>Ti>Fe>Ni>Si>Te>Fi>Ne (First 4 functions are opposite)

    Hm, guess so.

I enjoy ISTJ's- they're very steady/reliable/valuable friends. We're not romantically compatible; there's little to no chemistry there, most of the time. And when there is, the gaps in perception are still too far & wide to really allow for a mutually beneficial, fulfilling relationship.

Overall, I'm lucky with my opposites. If I were trapped in an elevator with them, I'd probably not have any urge to destroy them at any point.

ISFP - Some playful affinity, as friends. Despite possible phy attraction, romantically incompatible.
ISFJ - They can be very caring and enabling, some mental affinity even [tert Ti] but overall I find there is a mismatch on the emotional level, often too clingy & judgmental.

I've read those kinds of descriptions too, and they really surprise me, because they don't remotely match my experiences. I have a good friend who's an ESFJ, and she's fine. I work with two others as well. All three of them are very much on the left politically. One was in a metal band in the 90s and looks the part, the other is a graphic designer who could benefit from lightening up a bit. I had an online friend for a little while who was one too, and she was also really nice.

That's good to know. I'm sure if I got to know some whose type I was sure about who I liked a lot, I'd be more fond of the type.

On a somewhat related note, I only know 3 INFP's; 2 of them annoy me, and one is much older than I am; so I'm hoping to get to know more INFP's so I can be less prejudiced and embrace the type as a possibility for myself. I'm sure there are many people who embody more of the pleasant and mature qualities of the type than the negative ones; I just need to have personal experience so I know what is indeed an immature quality and what is simply a quality of the type I happen to dislike.

The same could be said for ESFJ's, I presume.
