    Going against the grain.

Apples. Pretty much solely because I don't have to cut or peel them.

Oranges but not the kind with thick white rind inside that just sticks to the fruit and is annoying to have to pick off.

    Clementines are good.

Oranges are used to make marmalade, which tastes like shit.

I've never been a citrus fan.
Apples. They are way too underrated in the fruit land. Not to mention they're more versatile for baking.
    Apple crumble anyone?

    Apples.

I'm in upstate NY and I'm pretty sure they would arrest me if I said otherwise.

Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

I would have to pick apples, but that is more about my dislike of oranges. Can I vote at all for bananas (the smilies for them don't hurt the vote! ), cherries, and grapes?

Apples are easier to eat. Depending on the size, oranges are more likely to produce more flesh, but seems that apples do a better job filling a person up; likely do to the flesh type itself.
Oranges are more nutritional, but not my much. Orange juice tastes better than apple juice, but you can store apple juice for a longer time before it goes bad.
Orange juice with pulp is delicious. Apple juice with pulp is

    Definitely Oranges, thank you!
