    Default Flagpoles

Why are American flagpoles so tall. They are taller than ours. I must admit they look a bit too tall. What would happen if I sawed just a little off the top to bring the pole back into proportion.

    Hey, let's keep it above-board.

Everything I've ever understood about flagpole sizes has been based on the size of the flag they are displaying. Maybe your flags are smaller than ours?

The issue is parallax. You are looking up at it. The trick is to look down on it from above as I do to everyone else.

Why do you look down on people's flagpoles?

Has nothing to do with snooting. I just have flagpole envy so I want to make everyone else's seem smaller than mine.

Yeah, well try running THAT up the pole and see who salutes [with their snoots]!

    boo-boo-be-doop

Although I feel bad for Victor. It must be hard having a tiny flagpole. (At least everyone's else's flagpole over there is tiny too, so no one really knows.)

Not the size of your flagpole but the wave of your flag? Either way, if there is a salute...I am guessing you are ok.
