As can be seen in the above avatar, the subject is clearly comforted by the presence of their drink, yet has no apparent desire to consume it, indicating a dangerously psychological dependence on the substance. If I had to make a guess as to why this dependence exists, I would say that it is genetic, developed when their ancient ancestors smuggled coffee beans overseas during the war. For a dark period in their family, this illegitimate business was the sole source of their income, instigating a need to stockpile the product beyond any semblance of sanity. The weather outside represents the frigid void that is the subject's soul, twisted and broken by crippling psychosis.
Or there's ice water in that cup, and they just like watching rain. Either way, I give it a 7/10. Nice atmosphere. Could maybe use a little trimming around the edges, so the eye is drawn more to the subject.
