    Default The Scant Rant Plant

I want a thread for rants that don't deserve their own thread. Yeah, I'm stealing this idea from INTPc. I don't care.

My roommate has the most annoying cat ever. This cat whines and whines and whines and whines. It never shuts up, not ever. When I have my bedroom door closed, it sounds like a baby. I actually wondered if someone brought a baby over a couple times. The cat woke me up with this fucking whining this morning. I told the cat to shut the fuck up, but it doesn't seem to understand English. It just kept on whining.

My cats did that when they where in season. Its a mating call. Chuffing anoying to, especially at night.

Ask if its been spade, cos if not that might stop it from "crying".

Talking about annoying animals, what the fuck is up with moths!? Why are they so stupid? In evolution terms why haven't they caught up to everything else!? Why do they fly right at you....right fucking at you!!.....do they not understand the concept of danger? You hit them, they veer off and come right back at you, what the fuck instincts are these? That's like me getting a bitten by lion, running around in a circle and jumping straight back in its mouth, thinking, "This'll be safe." Why has natural selection afforded this cretinous insect? I wish more people would take the time to kill these things so only the intelligent survive and they stop FUCKING FLYING INTO ME!!!!

And what is that shit that comes off them? That's not cool.
Why do we always come here?

    I guess we'll never know.

It's like a kind of torture,
To have to watch this show.

    Hahahaha.

I think I commented you changed from ENFP to ENXP to XNXP (or was that someone else) but that would be so funny coming from a textbook ENFP.

"STFU you flipping annoying cute furry flipping animal!!! I don't care if you're suffering -- I'll show you what real suffering is if you dont' STFU!!!"

I used to hate cats, but my gf at the time volunteered us to catsit a baby himalayan. He was literally a little fluff ball and he was crying in the way you describe when I got out of the shower and opened my door. I didn't even know we had a cat in the house.

The fact it sounded like a baby and was a (cat) baby really endeared him to me. I loved that little fluff ball. I slept on a home-made futon (right on the ground) and when I turned the lights off, he'd jump on my bed and curl up to sleep (so smart). And once I locked him out of the room and my roommate knocked on the door to let me know he was standing in front my door mewing and crying (and she wanted him to shut up hahahaa) and I'd let him back in.

He was crazy though, always scratching people and he'd bite you to show affection. His owner told me to 'tap his nose' to teach him to stop, but the crazy bugger thought I was playing with him and he'd just bite my finger as I was mid-poke.

I loved that kitten so much my gf got jealous and would throw him out of the room when she could.

OMG, I think I'm gonna start crying now.

Holy shit, I think this means I want kids...

    Alright, well there's your rant.

Is his owner not petting him enough or something? I've only heard a cat mew like a baby when they wanted attention. Just like how dogs might bark at you to play with them.

I'm convinvced about 80% of the time a person doesn't like dogs or cats is because the never lived with one. The other 20% is that got attack or allergic to them, I swear when someone is like I hate cats! I usually ask if they after owned one most of the time they haven't. Though I don't care for small dogs and prefer a big dog but it could be that I grew up with 80 lb dogs.*

*80 might be high but they were big dogs.

... and I hate it when people at work answer the cell phone while they're taking a piss, you know?

I don't need to hear them talk to their kids while they're going. (headshake)

It better not go to the graveyard! Wait a minute, you're a mod, so you could always move it back.

I never understood this, but my mom will talk on the phone on the toilet as will my room mate. I am not talking to anyone while I'm on the toilet they'll have to wait til I'm done.

There are no Bank of America branches in Minnesota. There aren't even any ATMs where I can make a deposit. Wtf?! It's Bank of AMERICA. I opened an account at this bank because I wanted one that was nationwide, not just regional. They have no plans to open any branches in this state. They should be forced to change their name to 'Bank of America minus 3 states' (they also don't service Ohio and Colorado).
