Default How skillfully can you get off topic?

The topic of this thread is how to slyly, not overtly, get off topic. It's fun! The rules are that the change must be skillfully executed. As in, if it's too overt, blah! You must seem to be on topic, yet get things off topic. This is the place for off-topic practice. Because, you see, it is so easy to get off topic. How easy is it to stay off topic? Think it's simple? We are always told to stay on topic. But here we break the rules. Because the rule of staying on topic is only for those who are serious about the topic of the thread. But are you serious about staying off topic? Okay, I don't care. Skillfully getting off topic is for those who are the brightest and best. And the best are masters at disguise. They can twist and subvert and leave you clueless. Yes, they even leave you wondering if what they have said is truly profound or off the wall. That place is the fine line between genius and insanity. So if you have either genius and/or insanity I submit this zone as that place in between. Do you know of what I speak?

I don't know how good I am at this sort of thing. I mean, you can say you're good at something, but then you kinda begin to doubt it and go "Eh? How do I know?" But then, I'm pretty sure I'm good at lots of things.

It could be like one of those Johari window things Hustler talked about at INTPc.
I've got one of those up on a site.

In order to get off topic, you need to have a launching point. Otherwise, it's just a nontopic discussion.

It depends on whether you're in the tropics. There, I hear, it's easy to get off topic. Especially if you're in the Tropic of Cancer or your astrological moon is in Cancer. What's your sign?

It's not skillful if it's not on purpose imo.
