if you like japanese culture and stuff, but always kill plants, why not get a little zen rock garden? they come with little rakes, too, so if you're stressed, you can rake your little garden.

and if you can kill rocks, boy, stay away from all living things.

    You gave me hyacinths first a year ago;
They called me the hyacinth girl.
Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.

It would cost $5730 to fill my apartment with 3 feet of playpen balls.

What should I buy? I have no idea. I was thinking a book, but meh. I have tons of books to read. Any other ideas?

I want something that will will occupy my time for the next few weeks, like a book or project or something. Or something very useful (not clothes) that I'll enjoy.

Wow, Edahn what a sweet talker you are. I'm seriously flattered by your attention. I'm sure the ladies appreciate your flowery prose, too.

Here's another suggestion for spending that money.

Edahn I believe you when you say you got that line from a movie.

Now, whatever late night pay-per-view you like to get is between you and your adult cable provider. I just wanna ask you -- is that something a nice Jewish girl is gonna appreciate? Exactly.

Well, I'm going to go tell on you to Geoff now (because he is my homie) and then I'll think of some more ways you can amuse yourself with $100.

Not just Jewish girls, and not just girls, but everyone is attracted to honesty and genuineness. So . Hope that works. I'm not good with the smileys.

See, I don't even know what that means. It's an expression that doesn't really hit the UK in any meaningful sense (except for in gangsta rap and stuff). Should I be flattered, horrified or strangely worried?

It sounds like you're kind of reaching trying to come up with something that would really mean a lot to you.

Spend it on someone for whom $100 would be an enormous amount of money. But something fun or extravagant, not practical. e.g., buy a bike for a kid who's never had one, etc. If you find the right kind of thing like this, it'll likely be more rewarding than anything you might come up with for $100 for yourself.

Plus, your new girlfriend will think that's really hot. You'll probably get over $100 worth of something right there.

(This is not to imply that there is any appropriate monetary value associated with any intangibles provided by said girlfriend.)
