My thing for GruffyBear is pretty notorious. I think even he knows about it despite his being a typically oblivious INTP guy. I'm shameless, I tell you.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

It's too bad. I think I could have been very happy together.
She's falling down on the job here. I didn't even get PM about you listing me, either, and I was seriously considering including you on my list if I ever make one.

I'd probably avoid the goulash, too, if it's anything like mum's concoctions of doom (she means well, but she's usually working with cheap crap ingredients, trying to keep picky eaters happy, and trying to cater to some medically-important diet all at the same time).

There's always the possibility of coming down, too. The weather is almost certainly better here, and we have plenty of excellent Mexican food. There are also plenty of beaches, if you're up for getting the flesh seared off your body.

The bonus about asking me is that regardless of who asks, I pay.

Goulash provides a common hardship to overcome, which can help draw people closer together. We'll see what happens.

dissonance: duckie (aka, DD) happens to be my pet, ya know? Ya gotta prove yourself a man worthy of an elfin pet before i were ever to consider releasing her to you.

    You gave me hyacinths first a year ago;
They called me the hyacinth girl.
Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.

I tend to burn pretty badly...but it would be most fun. Give my mom a heart attack as well, I'm sure.

Pay...hmm...I do think you make more money than I do.

I do, too, though after moving I have noted that burns tend to take a lot more exposure here. In fact, the one I got last Sunday was only the second I've had in over a year. Leave her with a home defibrillator, she'll be fine.

This is probably true. But this is also probably true of most people here.

Nothing like overcoming adversity on the first date. You should take pics, post-goulash of course. My stomach can't handle the goulash experience, even from afar.

    I... suppose. Yeah!
