If these are computer game zombies that do not turn you into a zombie if they bite you, I would just remember to walk around them and carry something heavy.

If these are zombies that do turn you into a zombie, i would use the same plan, but would just go out less (not that i go out much anyway). I figure with zombie movies people would figure it out pretty fast and keep the disease fro spreading.

If these are really dangerous, fast moving, wildly aggressive zombies on steroids, I'll just hope I am the main, main character, or have some storyline along the lines of "the underconfident, shy one discovers his inner strength at coping with adversity", or something along those lines.

My favorite zombie games will always be Half-Life and Half-Life 2.

I play through the Ravenholm chapter just because I love killing imaginary zombies so much.

That's exactly where the zombies came from. They wouldn't be zombies anymore if they were in the graveyard.

That's pretty much my least favorite chapter in the game. I like being in City 17. I'm not a fan of zombies or zombie movies or games per say, but I like the Half-Life games as a whole.

What about zombies that become zombies because they get bitten?

They're likely everywhere but the graveyard.

    I shoulda thought of that.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

    Hell yeah.

Anticitizen One and Follow Freeman are my favorites.

But seriously, Gravity Gun + Round Saw = hilariously decapitated zombies.

I wish I could have a gravity gun in my theoretical post-apocalyptic zombie survival scenario.

Also, there's some question as to how fast the zombies are. If they're slow moving, I think a lot could be out-maneuvered. But according to the Survival Guide, some can move quickly, so ammo might be a problem, yeah.
