I had to read that twice, if that counts, and I still have trouble understanding it.

    Oh look a dancing man

Oh look a well constructed and thought promoting article
    link

oh and if all else fails, learn to use O/T (off topic)

O/T The Bulls are up by 6 and there's a minute left in the 3rd.

I read this cool article a while back where the author said alot of what was read/writing 40 years ago was well research because of the the mediums and processes involved (i.e it had to go through certain process to get to print so that it could be read. No printing no reading.)
Now days with the advent of the internet alot of what we read is just complete crap. Think of the % of stuff we read from the net which is really just someone we don't knows opinion. We have no way of knowing the quality of the information or opinion.

For instance this post could be complete and utter crap. Banal dribble that just going to keep going on and on and on with very grammer badly and speiling pour and likey to finish before I reach my po..... oh look an emoticon

I had about 2500 on INTPC. Most of those were just one-liners devoid of... stuff.

I'm pacing myself here; no need to rack up a huge count anytime soon.

    lol hmmmm....

I relish the opinions of those I don't know and have never met. The only thing better is when the person posting is sharing the opinion of someone they don't know, but only heard of...

I guess I don't post as much as other folks...
My post count would be higher if there was a section where we communicated only in emoticons... but it appears that everyone here is attached to letters. <<shrugs>>

You are sooooo right. What have I been thinking? Better to skim, misinterpret, and start pointless arguments. Much better to drear on and on and on about what I think they think than thinking about what they have actually said. That way I get to feel like a and get up on my

    That's the spirit

And just because I can never get enough of this one

Hey, do you want to argue about whether there is such a thing as a pointless argument???? You can pick which ever side you want. We could change sides half way through arguing just for fun.

There's an art to post skimming.
When I've been in arguments I find that I often understand the other person's position better than they understand mine, even though I skim everything I read and I try to make my own points as clear and concise as possible.
