same reason this whole getup makes me gag. conventional beauty is boring, predictable, and often already past any further positive impressions.

    to dress-up, i say

I have an appreciation for traditional as well as not so traditional beauty.

There's a time and a place for nearly everything.

Symmetry is beautiful, but, so too can purposeful asymmetry be.

Simplicity is beautiful, but, so too is complexity.

    Blah, I HATE deep thoughts.

I agree with this guy's sentiment,

yea. always for the ones who have less. noblesse oblige. It was one of the principles i used to teach my babies, when i was teaching.

hair, makeup etc. sweetheart. when most guys say they appreciate natural, they don't mean no make up. they mean natural makeup. trust me. even supermodels dress up some.

besides, who said anything about conventional beauty?

As what captainchick said, fox. Assymetry, too, is a form of beauty. Like jazz. I used to coach a jazz band. It's all about dissonance and assymetry. An undeniable, individualistic beauty all its own, far from the perfect fifths of classical music.

It all depends on the eyes of the beholder.

And haha, CC. since you're getting deep, why not take it a step further? As wildcat would agree, the most complex things are the most simple. Think of quantum physics: how the movement of electrons mirror that of planets around a sun (Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle). Think of the theory of relativity. Just E = mc squared. But it turned classical Newtonian physics on its head. Think of chaos theory, that explains biology, but again, goes against classical physics.

    Full circle it comes.

but carbohydrates are an essential part of the diet, ain't it? It's all about balance, fox.
    You gave me hyacinths first a year ago;
They called me the hyacinth girl.
Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.

most people do not have the concise thinking required to mean whatever they say definitively, i will agree with you there...
