Well in that situation isn't it the most logical thing to do?

I think so. I hate Kant.
But the existence of things like Kantian philosophy shows that the goodness of such a course of action is still rather debatable for many.

(Funny how you sort of implicitly assume that I was against her decision.)

I generally don't think text has a tone. And I didn't even have this anywhere in my post.

Unless I see emoticons, or purely emotive expressions(like "fuck you" for example) I take text to be neutral.

The Frontal Lobe (One part of the Neocortex)
This is the most recent evolutionary addition to the brain. If the brain had a White House it would be here. It is the true center for command and control in your body. The Frontal lobe is responsible for functions such as reasoning, problem solving, judgement, impulse control. This coupled with the fact that it's the last to develop when we are young adults, probably answers a lot of questions for many parents out there. It also manages our higher emotions such as empathy and altruism. This lobe is also involved in motor control and memory.
Who else thinks YECs may have slightly underdeveloped Frontal Lobes?

Maybe it could be the cause of conditioning from childhood. I doubt it, though.

I especially doubt the notion that these people were biologically predisposed to have less developed frontal lobes, which then happens to make someone more likely to be religious. That theory seems highly suspect.

Its difficult to say whether the underdevelopment of the frontal lobe is what leads to being highly religious, or the other way around (being taught to be highly religious throughout your early years leading to the underdevelopment of the frontal lobe).

Determining the cause of it is another one of those darn Nature vs. Nurture ideas, why does it always come down to this lol?

Edit: Also, you hear these stories of people who are taught to be religious at a young age and over time discover that it is bullcrap (George carlin is a great example), this leads me more to the Nature side i guess..

Yeah, "nature via nurture", I can dig that hypothesis.
