    Red face Crushes

I was watching this episode of Friends last night and wondered why women are more comfortable discussing this type of thing (see middle of video) and men are not. Ask any hetero group of lets say 5 guys, who in their group they would date and I'm quite sure their reaction would be to scoff at the mere suggestion and deny and that such a thing could ever happen, while we women would actually think about it and give an answer.

While I am not gay I am also not ashamed to admit that I have had girl crushes in the past. Why can't more people feel comfortable within their own sexuality to discuss these things?

Do you have a crush on someone? It can be a girl crush, boy crush or member crush.

Any crushes you'd like to share with us? Contributions are welcomed as I have high hopes for this thread.

    Internet crushes count as well.

In fact I can think of several members on this very site that I find fascinating. ;P

    Heehee. Toonie's mine, too.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Haha, I'd probably scoff at the idea of considering to date a girl in my group too, if it were brought up in real life. Still, I confess to having thought along the lines of, "I kind of wish she were a man or I were a man, because we really get along," but it's not really a desire so much as a fleeting idea. I have an online friend whom I esteem and know pretty well, and once I remarked, "You know, if one of us were male, we'd be dating," and she said, "Of course. I thought that went without saying." Down boys, down!

I think women are FAR more graceful and fun to draw than men - faces, bodies, everything - and I like to draw, but other than that, consider me straight and quite raving about men.

Bisexual implies a sexual attraction to both sexes, and the word "crush" also implies something sexual to me. Nah, no crushes on women. But it goes without saying that I appreciate many women on this site, on the internet in general, and in real life for their wit, personality, intelligence, and, sometimes, their beauty as well. It's always a combination of those traits.

Again, women are just prettier and more fluid and graceful to draw. Aesthetically, they tend to trump men times ten. But other than that...
    They're running just like you
    For you, and I, wooo
So people, people, need some good ol' love
