To sleep preferably earlier than required for a certain number of days.

Do not set the alarm.

Let yourself wake up naturally according to your bodies needs.

And then you will see a trend. (A period which is usually consistent.)

Take the average of that period and when you go to sleep the next time set the alarm for the required period of time.

This way you have your required amount of sleep and you wouldn't oversleep *thanks to the alarm) even for a few minutes if you have a tight schedule.
