    I don't have any better ideas for the functions, though I could try single letters.

    I chose the emoticon for Ni because what it meant to me was seeing something coming and going back in the shell to devise a strategy to fight against it.

    The emoticon can also represent paranoia, something which Ni tends to be very adept at.
