But she looks like a sweet cat, so how about Sweetie, ends in the ee sound, and u could always go for Sweetie-Pie, seeing as she loves food so much.

But better still, buy a Greman shepard and yr never have to see the cat again, let alone worry about naming it.
I'd love to get a dog but I'm out too much

    I miss my mum's spaniel...

Oh and the cat has proven resistant to all naming... and training :steam:

I have found a weapon though. It seems the daft thing is intimidated by hoovers. Even when they're switched off!

A little bit of control goes a looong way

If you're referring to the litter box, perhaps she's just been an outdoor cat for too long.
If you're referring to any other kind... silly human... cats don't obey!

It won't behoove you to make her afraid of you. If you lose their trust, it's very difficult - if not impossible - to get it back.

No respect and thinks "meow" is a universally understood word? Often I couldn't give a stuff if she gets upset... she started it!!

Besides this cat is like a dog in many respects. She knows when I'm annoyed and when I'm at peace. Oh and that goes double the other way. Sometimes all she thinks of is food and will brook no excuses for being tardy in the execution of this most essential duty. Other times she's a lazy cuddly cat.

Guess which attitude gets her the furthest... she hasn't...yet.

    LOL!
You remind me why I LOVE cats.

You DON'T understand cat language?! Ha! And you're supposed to be so smart!

This is why I like dogs. They have the belief that if they say if it emphatically enough then you'll get it anyway. It's like anything can be solved with good vibes and plenty of energy.

Mind you this cat is a bit of a combination of those two approaches.

How about Catava which is African for "bringer of peace." This was my cat's (the Queen of Sheba) suggestion. (Sheba is telepathic in English.)

edit: and remember, the presence of noise and energy do not equal a lack of peace
