This is giving me loads of good ideas. The only problem is that the cat may end up with a hyphenated name as it'd be silly to have all those forenames and not have a double barrel surname

Not sure about that Pyewacket thinking about it. I don't think it's very fitting for ones familiar to roll over for a tummy tickle and half fall off your lap. She's not the most dexterous of cats bless her, though she is surprisingly fast and agile if you start a hoover too close to her!

Calling the cat "whatever" would be fun. Kinda appropriate too. They both have similar sunny dispositions

    Edit,
I think I'm going to add a poll at some point. Get some clarity on which is a popular choice or something.

Sounds just about right for one of *your* familiars, X.

You could always call her Pye for short and pretend you're mathematically inclined.

No, but he may name her "Fiona-Celine Porky-Puss Brunhilde-Lauga Beatrice "Puss Puss" Pyewacket-Fish" and just use "whatever" as her nickname.

Leave it to you two to make it into a game of cat and mouse

    The title should be
    Whatever Fiona-Celine Porky-Puss Brunhilde-Lauga Beatrice "Puss Puss" Piewacket-Fish

Jeez. Anyone would think it was hard to remember or something!

My mother named one of her cats that once a few years ago. I hated that name, and didn't know what it was supposed to be a reference to. I suggested she name it "Juno", in reference to the Roman goddess [not the movie], because it sounded far more pleasant than that. No clue what happened to that cat, as I don't keep track of them due to my dislike of animals.

Aww, she looks just like my kitty Sophie...or Cricket and one that I have named Littlebit. Hubby named her that when she was a kitten 'cause she was so small. Not so small now though.

There's also Jada, Tommy O'Malley and Ellie.

Edit: also used to have a Pyewacket, Chip, Bandy, Sonny and many more. I like Cats. Freeway or Highway are cute names for cats that are found that way or Gypsy, which is what I named my dog, who the shelter told us had traveled around a lot.

whatever is a good name, though.
    You gave me hyacinths first a year ago;
They called me the hyacinth girl.
Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.
