It's been a while since I visited this thread drunk. Hello again, mr. thread. How are you? Me too. I chugged a double glenlivet, a double sapphire and tonic and a sam smith nutbrown... it'll get worse later I'm guessing.

Eeeuuuuuw gin. I know Blue Sapphire is the the good stuff, but unless it's filled with cucumbers or infused in some other way or cut with a looooot of tonic, I can't stand the taste.
I like girly drinks that avoid being culturally irrelevant the way of Beverly Hills 90210 or have cheesy names involving 'screw, sex, or orgasm'. I sat at the bar with my aunts on my brother's b-day and I cannot tell you how horrified I was when my aunt started yelling her drink order to me, "Long Hard Screw Against the Wall!" or something just as catchy. Dear lord. And don't get me started on Coyote Ugly. I went there once with coworkers and I was mortified. It was like I was stuck in the middle of an early 90s hair band video/Girls Gone Wild.
My fave mixed drink of the moment:
White peach juice + sake or any other clear spirit (other than gin) = yummy buzz.
And I can drink whiskey and vodka neat pretty well.
