@ Blankpages: I'm due for 14 April. We'll see if Little One is as punctual as his daddy

@Mnestic: please don't hold back on the beer I'd have juice or chocolate milk (for some reason or another I crave chocolate milk... I guess I'm pregnant or something... ) but that doesn't mean you can't have beer, c'mon!

Dude, you don't even have to be pregnant to want chocolate milk. Yes, I am eight years old inside.

I'm not a beer drinker, but now that I know it's OK, I'll hoist a virtual rum and coke in your honor.

Sweet! Congrats, you will have such a fun time I hated and loved being pregnant at the same time...but it's all worth it in the end!

    Congratulations .. A little Aries

Don't let people scare you with the whole labour nonsense .. It's quite a blast if you adopt a mind over matter approach

    Thanks again all of you!

@ Mnestic, in my book chocolate milk is for everyone; it's the craving thing that's unusual. My normal approach to food and drink is if it's there, I'd take it and enjoy it; otherwise I don't think about it. Except if I'm hungry or thirsty, and then I'm hungry or thirsty for nothing particular; anything food or drink will do. But now somehow I crave particular things.

@ Clearheart: I love being pregnant; hate being tired all the time (I'm home all day and still I'm not able to do anything worthwile like finishing my novel or even gardening).

@ Saslou: probably not. Both my husband and I are nothing like what our signs say we ought to be. We shouldn't even fit together according to astrology, lol! We were bantering about the future type of Little One. I fear a second ESTJ; husband fears a Feeler. About labour: I'm not really scared. Heard lots of stories, always zoned out and never listened... Delivery stories are boring.

(removed a rude post to OT Posts in the Graveyard)

And what better excuse to wish you well, Tamske. I had a similar early pregnancy- not a lot of nausea, but VERY tired. It passes in the second trimester. Honestly, I've never felt better in my life than I did during both my second trimesters. I was taking really good care of myself, excited about something, and I felt really cute with the bump and all. Third trimester is when I got tired of feeling like a whale.

I must admit that I love labor/birth stories, though. I was a childbirth peer counselor (not really a childbirth educator- more of a mentor) for awhile.
