Waving smiley is a sarcastic bastard , isn't he?.

I only use him is such cases where I am being a sarcastic bastard.. I can see why this would annoy a sensible person.

:rolli: This is the only one I don't care for, because he is so snooty and doesn't really have much to back it up.

I hate this smiley. It doesn't make you look clever. It doesn't make you look flirtatious. It makes you look like a douche.

This guy goes with anything! He's the new black.
He can be sarcastic like, "yeah, NICE going"
Or he can be genuine like, "nice going dude!"

I have never ever used that smiley though.

I claim and as mine. I vote for a new smiley though. I'd also love a *pout* smiley (for now I make do with and ), and an *innocent look* smiley, for which I have no alternative unfortunately, atm.

Also, I love but it really is a Lady X smiley.

I agree. None of the winks really looks positive. I agree with what you said earlier about the douche-wink.

My my what horrors are imagined (largely by Fs, ha!) of poor widdle emoticons. Maybe the smooch is simply a promise of raunchier things to come. And rolled eyes are exasperation rather than snootiness. A wave for welcome, perhaps?
