Default Wow, you know what sucks? Loneliness.

I really had no idea I would miss the friends I had back home this much. Sometimes a guy just needs a hug you know?
There is no such thing as separation from God.

You'll get used to it. I did it too.
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

I was terribly homesick and lonely at college, too. Hope it gets better soon.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

What's worse? Feeling lonely, or everyone you know trying to make you feel like a defective human being about the fact that you don't get lonely and don't miss people?

You will make friends though! Everyone is really looking to make friends at this point. Several of the friends I made at the beginning of my freshman year (I am guessing you are a freshman) have become lifetime friends.

Can't you just call them up? Skype or something?

I don't know if that works.
