I'm still wondering when I'll find the first family that called their kids Britt, Finn and Noor. (At the moment all three very popular middle class names in the Netherlands, Noor by the way means "Norwegian" in Dutch and Britt and Finn sound like the Dutch words for "Briton" and "Finn". So sad a Russ, which sounds like "Russian", isn't popular as a name.)
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

I always wanted to name a daughter "Tarantula." Sadly, I never could get Mrs. Oberon to agree.

PS: Twin girls "Tarantula" and "Dementia"!!!

I once got a resume from a guy named Matthew Jackendoff. I think that's the most important "D" in the history of names.

I believe they pronounce it as oos-nah-VEE, you know, in the French way.

    I think I'm either a 4w5, 4w3, 6w5 or 9w1. Most possibly 4w5.

Yes! I was going to say this one. There was something on the radio once where they were talking about unusual names, and this elementary school teacher called in and was like, "Yeah, usually I'm pretty good with ethnic names, but when I saw this one, I said, 'I'm sorry, but I have to spell it'..."

Actually I think it's a nice name, Shi-theed. Unfortunate spelling, though!
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.
