In evolutionary terms, large multi-celled animals like us have a short evolutionary life span. But as we become extinct, we will leave behind our genes in another form. We are all part of the tree of life, and homo sapiens is only a very small branch.

    Sigmund Freud or Carl Jung?

Jung...I think Freud did a whole lot of projecting.

If you had the option of living in any bygone era, which would you choose & why?

    I suppose the 1990s don't count?
    I know I couldn't live pre-1920s. I just like hygiene too much.

Do you squeeze the toothpaste tube from the bottom, middle, or top?
I got my smile from the sunshine,
I got my tears from the rain.
I learned to dance when I saw a tiger prance,
And a peacock taught me to be vain.
A little owl in a tree so high,
He taught me how to wink my eye.
I learned to bill and coo from a turtledove,
And a grizzly bear taught me how to hug.
But the guy that lived two caves from me,
He taught me how to love.

Middle at first, then bottom as the toothpaste starts to run out.

Do you give the impression of being older, or younger, than your actual age?

It used to be everyone thought I was younger, more for my overall demeanor I think than my looks, but now I think most people peg me for my exact age.

Assuming you have, say, 50 years left to live, would you rather live out the rest of your days stuck as a 10 year old or a 60 year old?

I'll go with 60. More freedom to do as I please. And I hated grade school, so I wouldn't want to go back to that.

If you could go back and do-over a part of your life, what would it be?

    My marriage.

What's the last thing you accomplished that you are proud of?
