    ask jock to pet it...uh..me

what is the appeal of having pets?
every normal man must be tempted, at times,
to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag,
    and begin slitting throats.

18 years since I was last by the sea. I was in Indonesia.... Sigh... I live in the land of 16000 lakes so I am always by water... but it's not the same. Some day in the future I will live next to an ocean!

Quit my job, with no intention of getting another one in the immediate future. Just going to go for a nice, long vacation of sorts. We'll see how crazy that turns out to be...

(or in other words how deep it dives into my savings!)

    Europe or Australia?

    Australia.

But Europe has all that history and culture...

    how do you relax?

Terrible things happen to good people every day.
Consequentially, I am not one of the good people.
I am one of the terrible things.

    Psychological thriller.

    Favorite foreign language?
I got my smile from the sunshine,
I got my tears from the rain.
I learned to dance when I saw a tiger prance,
And a peacock taught me to be vain.
A little owl in a tree so high,
He taught me how to wink my eye.
I learned to bill and coo from a turtledove,
And a grizzly bear taught me how to hug.
But the guy that lived two caves from me,
He taught me how to love.

I know what Europe has going for it. I was just asking which one I should visit first.

Depends. Does French count? It is an official language here but few people in this part of the country speak it. I do, so that's why it's my favourite. If not French one of the other romance languages, probably Italian.

    What's your favourite language, period?
